We are glad you stopped by & hope you enjoy your visit!

We are proud to be the home, producer and in many cases handler of multiple CKC Champions and working titled kids including an '08 Top Ten Dog and the '09 Rottweiler Club of Canada National Best of Opposite Sex in Specialty Bitch, and the #1 All Breed Bitch in Canada for 2009!

We have been involved with this unique and amazing breed since 2001. We enjoy training and competing with our dogs in conformation, Sieger Shows, obedience, herding & rally. Our breeding program came to fruition as the result of a deep love of the breed and a desire to see its' integrity maintained. We do not make our living off the backs of our dogs now, nor will we ever. Our breeding program is small and consists of only the best we have produced.  All of our breeding dogs are fully health tested before being bred as well as proven worthy of such by earning Championships and/or working titles.

Our dogs share our home with us. They are not kennel dogs, and it should be noted that they are a tad bit spoiled. It should also be noted that we wouldn't have it any other way!

Four Generations Under One Roof

Our dogs are our passion. They are members of our family first and foremost. Their "dog house" is our 1600 sq. ft. home. Their beds are our furniture, and truth be told...they probably eat better than most people!  Our dogs are fed a raw, 100% natural diet for their morning meal and a high quality, grain-free kibble in the evening.  Our puppies are weaned onto this diet as well, and our puppy homes are strongly encouraged to continue with this feeding module.

We believe that if you are going to breed Rottweilers (or any breed for that matter) that your involvement in your breed of choice should reach farther than simply putting puppies on the ground. To that end, we are proud to say that since getting involved with this breed in 2001 Marina has held the following volunteer positions within our National Breed Club: Breed Specific Legislation Co-Chairperson, website host of online auction to raise funds to fight BSL, Prairies Director and most recently, Newsletter Chairperson. Our family has also been involved in Rottweiler Rescue and to date have, of our own accord, rescued, rehabilitated and re-homed 10 VERY deserving Rottweilers.

We owe all of our kennel's past, present and future success to our beautiful foundation bitch, Jez. Without her none of this would have been possible. Jez is now retired from our breeding program, but please take a moment to visit her page to learn where we began.

New Adventures

July 25, 2010

Two of our dogs left our home today to set out on new adventures!

Oakley (Multi V Rated CH. Ashemburgs Annie Get Yer Gun STDs HIC TT) has been retired from our breeding program after producing 3 wonderful litters for us.  She will live out the rest of her life getting lots and lots of one on one attention, love and spoiling from Trevor Grill, his girlfriend Tara and the rest of the Grill Family (especially Grandma Sharon!!).  The Grills also own our retired boy, Catcher (Multi BPIG CH. VonRoth's Catcher TT).  Thank you for providing a wonderful retirement home for these very deserving kids!  Oakley was very happy to be re-united with her ol' Buddy Catcher!

Vandal (Ashemburg's Crime Spree) also left the nest today.  She will join her Uncle Jake in the home of Tom & Brenda Hantos.  A home that has a King, must also have a Princess   We are very thankful to Tom and Brenda for welcoming Vandal into their home and allowing us the opportunity to have a very active role in her life, as they have with Jake.  Watch for Vandal in the show rings later this year/early next year.

NACA Results

June 5 & 6, 2010

We entered the NACA show for Saturday & Sunday only this year.  The weather was nice (MUCH warmer than last year!) and lots of fun and laughs were had once again!  My co-owned boy Jack (Ashemburg's All Jacked Up HIC) went Winners Dog, Best of Winners, Best of Opposite Sex & Best Puppy in Breed on Saturday for a BIG 4 POINT WIN from the senior puppy class!  He is now sitting on the "dreaded 9", and you guessed it, went Reserve on Sunday   Littermate sister, Ember (Ashemburg's Prairie Fire HIC) won her class on Saturday and went Reserve Winners Bitch & Best Puppy in Breed on Sunday!  Very pleased with Ember!  She was showing like a little pro by only her second day in the ring!  Congrats to the owners of these kids and Thanks for sharing them with me!  I'm having so much fun with them.

New HIC dogs!

May 9, 2010

We headed out with a great group of dogs and owners to play in the sheep pens for Mother's Day.  What fun we had!  I am proud to say that we have another 5 HIC dogs from our breeding program.  Earning their HICs were:

Ch. Ashemburg's Kaluha On Ice HIC - Rayden
Ch. Ashemburg's Three Fifty Seven HIC - Magnum
Ashemburg's All Jacked Up - Jack
Ashemburg's Prairie Fire - Ember
Ashemburg's Gun Powder N Lead - Ammo

Jesse also joined us for another herding lesson.  Jesse earned his HIC in 2009 and he is doing a great job in the pens showing lots of promise, and Wayne is a great handler!  They work so well together.

Five of the kids that attended the clinic on May 9th are progeny of none other than our little herding dynamo, Oakley :0)  Clearly, she is passing on her love of herding to her kids!  NEAT!

I'm very proud of all of these kids and their owners!  Great job everyone
