Really, we are just a couple of good ol' Alberta rednecks with a passion for Rottweilers. Our dogs are a family affair, and that includes many of our extended puppy family.

I would not be able to pursue this passion to the extent I do without the unwavering support of the best husband in the world! On his own many weekends a year he is always supportive of this "vision" of mine. He never bats an eye at being left with our own dogs, boarding dogs, our kids and sometimes even a litter of puppies! Thank you for letting me live my dream. I love you!

Our two daughters are never far from the whelping box when there are puppies in the house. From our first litter they have been the official Ashemburg puppy socializing team. Extra special Thanks to my daughter Ashley who has stepped in a few times and handled a dog for me and kept me company on a few road trips. My youngest, Emma, is a god send at home. The first one home after a long day she is always ready to feed puppies or let the big guys out for some running time. She has also become my herding pal and loves being out there as much as I do. Wonder how long before she's trialling our Rotties? Thanks Emma for everything you do to keep the house running smoothly.

I also need to thank Trudy Taphorn of Tamaron Collies & Counterpoint Whippets for being a great mentor in this crazy dog world! Trudy also structurally evaluates our litters for us and has shown many of our dogs at one time or another. Thank you for being a great friend and freely sharing your vast knowledge of dogs with me.

Trudy's daughter, Natasha Taphorn, has also become a big piece of Ashemburg. Not only is she a dear friend and a great travelling buddy, Natasha also evaluates our show hopefuls for us and frequently helps me out in the ring. I also have to thank her for lending an ear to all my crazy ideas! Thanks for keeping me grounded.

Kathy Albrecht does all of our Volhard Temperament testing on our litters. Thank you Kathy for all of your assistance.

Carol Gardon started out as a puppy owner, but has ended up being so much more. Dubbed Ashemburg's official Photographer she is always willing to shoot fantastic pictures of our kids for us. Not to mention she has saved my butt by lending a hand numerous times when I've taken on way more then I could handle - which happens frequently! Thank you Carol for being SO much more than a puppy owner! You are a great friend and I look forward to many more years of friendship.

To all of the FANTASTIC people who own an Ashemburg dog - you guys are the BEST! Thank you for doing all you do to help us out and for providing the best homes a breeder could to hope to find. Here is hoping for many continued years of friendship and dog ownership!

Last, but certainly not least, I must say a HUGE Thank You! to our team of vets.  I don't know where we would be without them.  Dr. Amy Miller-Longson provides all the care for our crew and many of our extended family as well.  She is a God Send!  Dr. Heffelfinger, Tech Leanna and the rest of the team at Crestwood look after all our repro needs.  They are a great bunch and we've had huge success with our collections and breedings done at Crestwood.
